Thank you to Fr Philip for tak­ing our ser­vice today.   Fr Jeff and Michelle will be back on Tues­day 16th July.  Fr Philip Brad­ford will be tak­ing our Sunday and Wed­nes­day ser­vices dur­ing Fr Jeff’s absence.

 

 

Thank you to all those who made yes­ter­day’s Christ­mas High Tea in July such a suc­cess. We thank all those who pre­pared and made the food, donated items, dec­or­ated and setup the hall, and served food and drinks.

The Par­ish Coun­cil has agreed to raise funds to install an addi­tion­al bench seat in our car­park garden in memory of Fr Ron Mor­ris.   Dona­tions are sought towards the $1500 cost of the bench seat.  If you would like to donate, please pay dir­ectly to the church account as lis­ted on the back of the pew sheet (ref­er­ence Fr Ron Mor­ris), or place your dona­tion in an envel­ope in the offer­tory with the same reference.

 

 

7.30 pm — Tues­day Night Bible Study at Fr Philip’s home, 5 Lin­coln St Stan­more.  All wel­come.  The study is cur­rently on the book of Hebrews.  Please bring a bible.

Sunday 14th July at 6.30pm — Oxford Move­ment Even­song:  The Par­ish of Christ Church St Laurence (812 George St, Hay­mar­ket) extends an invit­a­tion to Fest­iv­al Even­song, Pro­ces­sion and Bene­dic­tion. This ser­vice will com­mem­or­ate Oxford Move­ment Sunday, giv­ing thanks for the litur­gic­al tra­di­tion with­in Anglic­an­ism. The ser­vice will be fol­lowed by light refresh­ments. No RSVP required. All welcome.

 

 

Sat­urday 7th Sept at 11am – ABM Mar­tyrs Day Ser­vice here at St Luke’s fol­lowed by a light lunch in the Hall.

 

 

Sunday 29th Sept — Myan­mar Lunch here at St Luke’s fol­low­ing church, and tea/coffee, and sim­il­ar to last year.  This is to help raise a fur­ther con­tri­bu­tion to the Myan­mar Clean Water Pro­ject.  It would be great to duplic­ate the sup­port our par­ish gave to this ABM ini­ti­at­ive last year.
