7.30 pm — Tues­day Night Bible Study at Fr Philip’s home, 5 Lin­coln St Stan­more.  All wel­come.  The study is cur­rently on the book of Hebrews. Please bring a bible.

 

 

Wed­nes­day 24th July at 6:30pm — Fest­al Chor­al Even­song on the Eve:  The Par­ish of St James’ King Street is cel­eb­rat­ing its bicen­ten­ary this year and extends an invit­a­tion to every­one to join in the Patron­al Fest­iv­al ser­vices, begin­ning with a ser­vice of Fest­al Chor­al Even­song on the Eve of St James’ Day.  The ser­vice will show­case the newly-built Bicen­ten­ni­al Pipe Organ and will fea­ture the world-premiere of The St James’ Canticles writ­ten by Joseph Twist.

Sat­urday 14 Septem­ber — Loc­al Coun­cil Elec­tions Our hall is to be a polling place.  We will be hav­ing a BBQ in the car­park and are look­ing for help­ers to come along between the hours of 9.00 am and 5 pm. Please put names on the roster on the notice­board in the hall if you can help.

 

 

 

Sunday 29th Sept at 12pm — Myan­mar Lunch here at St Luke’s fol­low­ing church, and tea/coffee, and sim­il­ar to last year.  This is to help raise a fur­ther con­tri­bu­tion to the Myan­mar Clean Water Pro­ject.  It would be great to duplic­ate the sup­port our par­ish gave to this ABM ini­ti­at­ive last year.  RSVP to the Par­ish Office by 18th Sept 2024.
