Wel­come to any vis­it­ors with us today.  Please join us for morn­ing tea.

 

Par­ish Coun­cil Meets today after the 9.30am ser­vice and morn­ing tea.

 

The Par­ish Coun­cil has agreed to raise funds to install an addi­tion­al bench seat in our car­park garden in memory of Fr Ron Mor­ris.  Fr Ron, who died in April 2017, was loved by all who knew him and came to our par­ish when he retired and lived at St John’s Vil­lage, Glebe.  He acted as locum in our par­ish on many occa­sions and had a long and act­ive his­tory with ABM.  Dona­tions are there­fore sought towards the $1500 cost of the bench seat.  If you would like to donate, please pay dir­ectly to the church account as lis­ted on the back of the pew sheet (ref­er­ence Fr Ron Mor­ris) or place your dona­tion in an envel­ope in the offer­tory with the same reference.

 

New Offer­tory Envel­opes sets for July 2024 onwards are now avail­able in the church foyer.

 

New Big Roster for 16 June to 29 Septem­ber avail­able in the church foy­er and the Com­munity Resource Centre table near the hall.

 

Cop­ies of Fr Jeff’s Sunday Ser­mons are made avail­able in the church foy­er each Sunday for those who would like to take a copy.

 

7.30 pm — Tues­day Night Bible Study at Fr Philip’s home, 5 Lin­coln St Stan­more. All wel­come.  The study for this term is The Acts of the Apostles.  Please bring a bible.

 

Sunday 24th June — The Christ­mas Mar­ket Com­mit­tee will meet after the 9.30am ser­vice and morn­ing tea.  We are work­ing through some new ideas to involve more people and the best ways to mar­ket the event.  We thank all those who are involved with the pro­ject.  More ideas are always welcome.

Sat­urday 6th July at 3.30 pm in the hallChrist­mas High Tea in July!

 

$15 dona­tion would be appreciated.

Wear some­thing green and red, or some­thing col­our­ful and/or sparkly.

Please bring an unwrapped gift or altern­at­ively wrapped in clear cel­lo­phane for the trad­ing table.

The idea is to bid for a gift and the pro­ceeds will go to ABM Myan­mar Clean Water Pro­ject.   Gifts need not be new – they can be good qual­ity antiques, or pre-loved, unique or homemade items.

There will be deli­cious food, enter­tain­ment and lucky door prizes!

This ser­vice will com­mem­or­ate Oxford Move­ment Sunday, giv­ing thanks for the litur­gic­al tra­di­tion with­in Anglic­an­ism. The ser­vice will be fol­lowed by light refresh­ments. No RSVP required. All welcome.
