NOTICES:
The flowers in the church today have been donated by Michelle Parker in loving memory of her mother, Dawn Sparkes.
Our Myanmar Lunch last Sunday was absolutely delicious and the talk given by Colin and Lyn Bannerman, and Tony Naake was colourful, interesting and informative. Everyone realised just how privileged we are in Australia and gave generously to the appeal. So, a hearty thanks to all who attended and to all who donated. At this stage the amount given was $1910 in cash; $1235 on Eftpos and $200 donated through our church account which the Treasurer will forward onto ABM as soon possible. Our total raised was $3,346 and as promised the Wardens agreed to round it up to the nearest $500 which will then amount to $3,500. A mystery donor is also matching the first $2,000, so all together this amounts to $5,500! Colin and Lyn Bannerman and their team, together with Edwina Waddy and Lina from ABM are so very grateful to you all.
Next Sunday – 21st May: Parish Council meets after morning tea.
