Pos­i­tions Vacant: St Luke’s OpShop is look­ing for parish­ion­ers who can give a half day a month or more to help­ing out in the Shop.  The Shop provides valu­able funds for the par­ish while per­form­ing a Chris­ti­an wel­fare func­tion in our com­munity.  All train­ing giv­en.  Speak to Andy Ser­afin or Peter Seymour.

 

 

Tues­day Night Bible Study with Fr Philip is can­celled for 13th August.  A study on the book of Gen­sis will com­mence when Bible study resumes at Fr Philip’s house on Tues­day 20th August.

 

 

Sunday 18th August – Par­ish Coun­cil meets in the church after 9.30am ser­vice and morn­ing tea.

 

 

 

Sunday 25th August –100th Anniversary of St Luke’s Rect­ory:  Please join us in the rect­ory for a BBQ after the 9.30am ser­vice to cel­eb­rate the Rectory’s 100th Birth­day.  The par­ish is sup­ply­ing saus­ages and bread rolls.  Let’s celebrate!

Sat­urday 14 Septem­ber — Loc­al Coun­cil Elec­tions   Our hall is to be a polling place.  We will be hav­ing a BBQ in the car­park and are look­ing for help­ers to come along between the hours of 9.00 am and 5 pm.  If you can help — Please place your name on the roster on the hall noticeboard.

 

 

 

Sunday 29th Sept at 12pm — Myan­mar Lunch here at St Luke’s fol­low­ing church, and tea/coffee, and sim­il­ar to last year.  This is to help raise a fur­ther con­tri­bu­tion to the Myan­mar Clean Water Pro­ject.  It would be great to duplic­ate the sup­port our par­ish gave to this ABM ini­ti­at­ive last year.   RSVP to the Par­ish Office by 18th Sept 2024.
