Remember Mission Giving:
The Parish supports several mission projects through giving to the ABM. You can give to the ABM in the following ways:
- by electronic transfer to the St Luke’s bank account (see last page of this booklet), with “ABM” in the note.
- by credit card – click ‘Giving’ on the St Luke’s website and select ABM from the dropdown menu.
- by cash placed in an envelope marked ‘ABM’ and placed in the collection plate as you leave.
In the current circumstances, our mission agencies, like the churches, are in greater need. Please remember to support ABM.
Life-Saving Phone numbers:
Recently I completed a St Johns Ambulance course on ‘Mental Health First Aid’. Something I gained from the course was the importance of having the resources to handle crisis situations. Some important phone numbers which everyone should have on hand are:
LifeLine: 13 11 14 Kids Help Line: 1800 55 1800 Beyond Blue: 1300 22 4636 MensLine: 1300 789 978 1800 RESPECT: 1800 737 732
Please write these numbers down, put them on your mobile or keep this notice somewhere safe. You might not need it yourself but someone you love or meet might be the one who needs it. Fr Jeff
