You will meet Professor Warwick Britton, AO, (Centenary Institute Research Director, University of Sydney and world-renowned expert on leprosy and tuberculosis) who will share the exciting vison as well as the challenges of The Leprosy Mission’s bold global strategy to end the transmission of new cases of leprosy by 2035. So future generations may be born into a world free from the oppression of leprosy! And free from disability, discrimination and social exclusion it causes.
You will also meet John Oa (from Papua New Guinea), who will share about the challenges they face in communities across PNG, where new leprosy cases are on the rise.
