Some­times, news can be too good to be true and we react with fear, dis­be­lief and shock. The news of the resur­rec­tion of Christ brought these feel­ings to his apostles, but we know that in time those rumours of his resur­rec­tion would con­cret­ise into flesh and blood exper­i­ence of this new Adam appear­ing in the garden and bring­ing good news of peace with him. From this resur­rec­tion, these meet­ings, and those exper­i­ences we have been giv­en the light of the gos­pel as well passed down through the ages, and we are called to bring it to others.

• Pray that in the light of the resur­rec­tion, we and all Chris­ti­ans might be strengthened to bring Jesus to those who don’t know him.
• Give thanks for the great gift of Resur­rec­tion in our lives.

ABM Fiji Cyc­lone Appeal

Thank you every­one for your gen­er­ous dona­tions to the Fiji Cyc­lone Appeal. $365 was col­lec­ted over two weeks and War­dens and Par­ish Coun­cil will add $35 from par­ish funds to make this up to $400 to be sent to ABM imme­di­ately.
