NEXT Sunday 15th October – St Luke’s Patronal Festival:

Our Guest Preacher is to be The Venerable Dr Colleen O’Reilly.

It would be wonderful and an encouragement to us all to see the church full of parishioners, former parishioners, family and friends.

Following the service we will hold a shared lunch, outdoors in the church carpark — weather permitting.

The shared lunch is to be in our old (pre-Covid) style – bring a hot or cold dish, savoury or sweet to share!  Ovens and fridge are available to use in the kitchen.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be very limited parking available in the church car park on Sunday 15th October.

A dedicated drop off/pick up zone for less mobile attendees can be accessed via driveway with exit via back gate to the laneway.

Parking is available on Stanmore Rd or the Edgeware Carpark (for a fee)

Disaster Recovery Volunteers REQUIRED:

Anglicare needs many more Disaster Recovery Volunteers for the South Sydney Region. The facts are, across the whole South Sydney region we currently have just 2 active volunteers. We need 40–50.  To help reach these number we need to see an Inner West Group – DR Volunteer Team formed.

While volunteer numbers are strong in other regions, our wonderful South Sydney region has room to grow.  Temperatures are soaring.  El Niño has officially been declared.  Bushfire season will soon be upon us and in full force.
