Sunday 15th October – St Luke’s Patronal Festival: Our Guest Speaker is to be The Venerable Dr Colleen O’Reilly. Following the service we will hold a shared lunch, outdoors in the church carpark — weather permitting. So please bring food to share – hot or cold; savoury or sweet.

Sat 21st Oct at 6.30pm – Warden’s Dinner “Opportunity Knocks”
Celebrating the 30th Anniversary since our OpShop first opened on Enmore Road in 1993, so we encourage you to buy yourself an
OpShop outfit. This does not need to be an entire outfit!!
Prizes will be awarded for the outfits: 1. the quirkiest, 2. the most creative, 3. the most expensive, and 4. the cheapest. Please keep your receipts for the last two categories.
Cost: $40 Adult/ $20 Concession, Student, and OpShop Volunteers. No one is to be excluded because they can’t afford it. Just ask one of the Wardens or Andy Serafin.
Price includes a 2‑course dinner. Please BYOG. Soft drinks and water provided. Please let us know if you have any food allergies.
Weather permitting, we will use the carpark area at 6.30pm for pre-dinner drinks and nibbles. Our Caterer will serve dinner in the hall at 7.15pm but people are welcome to sit outside.
This is a fun night and we will have 80’s music. Please come and join us.
Get a group of family or friends together for a table or book an individual seat. Tickets will be available after church from today. Please see Kevin Chiew after church, Andy Serafin in the Op Shop or contact the Parish Office.
Bookings must be received by 5pm on Friday 13th October for catering.

23nd-25th February 2024 — Parish Retreat: Booked at the Old Monastery Stroud (Friday evening to Sunday afternoon). We will start taking names for reservations in early December 2023. The bedrooms are nearly all single rooms with shared bathrooms, and we will be self-catering. Yes, it most likely will be very warm at that time of the year, but it was all that was available to book.
Food for our worms – Leave your worm food gifts at church on Sundays or drop off during the week. Please remember to remove the strings from teabags. (NB — no dairy, citrus, onions or meat).
Notices for the Sunday Service booklet need to be received by Jennifer in the parish office by 10am on Thursday morning. It is best to email the details.
ST PAUL’S PANTRY needs food, health and cleaning items: A basket is in the church foyer for donations.
