NOTICES:
Volunteers needed for Christmas Day– to setup, serve and clear away morning tea after the 9.30am service. Nothing fancy — just a cuppa and a biscuit in the hall after the service. Kathy Drummond has offered to help but we need some other volunteers to make it happen. Please let Jennifer McGovern know ASAP otherwise there will be no morning tea on Christmas Day.
Tonight — 6pm Carol Service (in the church carpark): Please note – The carpark will be closed to all vehicles tonight. There will be a sausage sizzle and soft drinks available BEFORE the carols. If you would like a delicious sausage on bread roll, come at 5.30 p.m. You are also welcome to BYOG. A Gold coin donation for the BBQ would be appreciated.

“Words of Hope” Poetry Day film can now be viewed at: https://www.stlukesenmore.org.au/poets/Words-of-hope.mp4 Many thanks to John Haly for putting this together for us.
Giving: At the last Parish Council meeting I shared my attitude to giving and members present asked me to share it more widely. As each new year begins, I always increase my giving just a little. In this way, I play my small part in making sure that the parish keeps up with rising costs. Not a huge increase but a little one. 1 or 2%. This is my suggestion to all if that is affordable. Fr Jeff
