Carolers Wanted! Our Carol Service will be held at 6pm on Sunday 20 December, outdoors in the carpark. If you have missed singing, this is your chance. With groups of five singers permitted, Jo Burton has kindly offered to lend her skills with ensemble singing to co-ordinate as many groups of socially distanced singers as is necessary for all to sing. No special expertise is necessary! Just a love of carols and singing, along with a willingness to attend a rehearsal on Sunday 13 December, immediately after morning tea. At the rehearsal, Jo will match the groups with carols. Registration is essential by Sunday 6 Dec for safe planning; please email Jo Burton at jo.burton@iinet.net.au. She is looking forward to hearing from you.
A note from the Treasurer: It has been a difficult year for the parish in so many ways. However, congregational giving has remained resilient throughout, with all of us shifting our giving to internet banking during April and May, and 80% of giving remaining by internet banking. It is no small feat to have made such an adjustment, and we can all be rightly proud of this achievement. I would like to encourage all those who have shifted to internet banking to continue with it. The greater predictability and the administrative ease of not handling large amounts of cash is appreciated, and this will be particularly so as the holiday season comes upon us. Stuart Veitch
