St Luke's Anglican Church in Enmore a lively, inclusive welcoming liturgical community

Notices — St Augustine of Canterbury — Sunday 24th May

NOTICES:

Return of 10am Wednesday Healing Service- this will be held in the church to allow for distancing and limited to 10 people as per current Covid 19 guidelines.  Please do not just turn up.  Anyone wishing to participate will need to contact Fr Jeff prior to the service

Update – Wednesday’s service (20/05) was a joy, but we are limited under the present guidelines to 10 worshippers.  In the second stage of the lifting of restrictions this will increase to 20 persons.   I would ask that people continue to notify me of their intention to come along.  The clergy have been notified that because of our vulnerable members, we should expect that recorded services will continue to be our main manner of worship during stages 1 and 2.  Fr. Jeff

Confirmation – Booked in for Sunday 23rd August: (but waiting to be advised).  Bp Michael Stead will be here for confirmation.  Anyone who is not confirmed is invited to go through the process of preparation with Fr Jeff.  Please speak to Fr Jeff about this.

Zoom Morning Tea – 11.30am Sunday Morning:  These are a great way to catch up with a number of parishioners.  If you are not familiar with the technology, all you have to do to join a session is to click on the email link that is sent out each week.

Food for our little friends — Don’t forget to keep your cooked food scraps, fruit peelings, tea leaves and coffee grounds for the parish worm farms.  (No citrus, dairy or meat).  You can still drop this off outside the office — during office hours.  If you would like some worm castings for your garden you can leave a bucket or bag at the rectory with your details.  Our little fertilizer factories have been doing a wonderful job and the fruit of their labours is now available.

Any notices for the service booklet will need to be submitted to the Parish Office email by Tuesday evening at the latest.  This is so we can post out the weekly service booklet earlier.
