Fr John’s two books, Honey From The Stony Rock: 100 Australian Sonnets, and Conjubilant With Song (65 of his hymns, &c) are still available for any not here for the anniversary two weeks ago. $20 each – all money to the Diocese of Jerusalem and especially the (Anglican) Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza, a “Samaritan” ministry and witness to those mostly not of our Christian faith. Thanks especially to those who have given extra donations (Lenten).

Sunday 13th April at 3pm — Handel’s Messiah: A music appreciation lecture by Susan Deas.
Held at Holy Trinity Church, Dulwich Hill.
In this lecture Susan will describe the background to the composition of this work, and explore Handel’s music, with musical excerpts, illustrations and paintings from the time.
Free entry, no need to book. 2‑hour session with afternoon tea included.

Tuesday 15 April at 11am — 2025 Chrism Eucharist
This year’s Chrism Eucharist is to be held at Christ Church St Laurence, George St, Sydney. The Right Revd Dr Michael Stead, Bishop of South Sydney, will be the celebrant. A general invitation is extended to clergy, parish readers and parishioners to attend the service. All clergy, lay readers and licensed lay ministers are invited to robe and renew their vows during the liturgy. A light lunch will be served following the service. There is no need to RSVP.
