Fr John’s two books, Honey From The Stony Rock: 100 Aus­trali­an Son­nets, and Con­ju­bil­ant With Song (65 of his hymns, &c) are still avail­able for any not here for the anniversary two weeks ago.  $20 each – all money to the Dio­cese of Jer­u­s­alem and espe­cially the (Anglic­an) Al-Ahli Hos­pit­al in Gaza, a “Samar­it­an” min­istry and wit­ness to those mostly not of our Chris­ti­an faith.  Thanks espe­cially to those who have giv­en extra dona­tions (Len­ten).

Sunday 13th April at 3pm — Handel’s Mes­si­ah: A music appre­ci­ation lec­ture by Susan Deas.
Held at Holy Trin­ity Church, Dul­wich Hill.
In this lec­ture Susan will describe the back­ground to the com­pos­i­tion of this work, and explore Handel’s music, with music­al excerpts, illus­tra­tions and paint­ings from the time.
Free entry, no need to book. 2‑hour ses­sion with after­noon tea included.

Tues­day 15 April at 11am — 2025 Chrism Euchar­ist
This year’s Chrism Euchar­ist is to be held at Christ Church St Laurence, George St, Sydney. The Right Revd Dr Michael Stead, Bish­op of South Sydney, will be the cel­eb­rant. A gen­er­al invit­a­tion is exten­ded to clergy, par­ish read­ers and parish­ion­ers to attend the ser­vice. All clergy, lay read­ers and licensed lay min­is­ters are invited to robe and renew their vows dur­ing the liturgy. A light lunch will be served fol­low­ing the ser­vice. There is no need to RSVP.
